Related topic: the observable universe is that part of the entire universe with is, in principle, well, observable. And we're in the center of it. Well, so are the folks on planets circling other stars, but their universe is a bit different than ours, if you buy into what Mach said, that anything you can't detect essentially doesn't exist. Hmmmm....

I Like Science
I won't claim to be able to follow or understand it all, but from QED to astrophysics, and lots in between, there's always something to learn and think about. Lately I've read through http://physicsfromtheedge.blogspot.com/ regarding an developing view of where inertia comes from. Very interesting, and the basic concepts are simple enough to understand.

Introduction
Ah, welcome! No doubt, you've found me by Googling, Binging or whatevering for some topic that has your interest at the moment, and you found...well, you have found me. I'll try not to be boring, but no promises. I may be somewhat controversial, and that should be fun.
You see, I have found that much of what I was taught within the Christian religion is not necessarily consistent with what Jesus taught, or for that matter what IAM taught in OT times. I've come to this conclusion through many hours of consideration and, well, here we go, talking and listening to Iam.
Yeah, see, his name is Iam or, more completely, IamthatIam, sez he. Not "the LORD", and not "Bob". Could be "Yahweh" or "Jehova", but some scribes left out the vowels, so I don't really know. Anyway, it means "I am that I am", but that's kind of long, and not very namelike, so I'll say "I am" and compress that down in writing to "Iam", pronounced "I am". Clear? Good.
Ok, you noticed I don't capitalize pronouns that reference him - the creator of everything really doesn't need that kind of pretentiousness, does he? (By the way, if the pronouns ARE capitalized when you read this, I didn't do that, he did and I'll follow suit immediately!!!)
Now, back to that "talking and listening to him" bit. See, I don't call what I do "prayer", any more than I would so identify a chat I was having with anyone, including you. It's just, I don't know, chatting, yeah? This is a personal relationship, parent-and-child, comforter-and-needy-child. I may beg to my Mom (when I was very young), but she'd freak if I approached her on my knees with "Oh, most holy Mother, wouldst thou..." and the like. I mean really, put someone off their lunch with that cruft.
And, yes, he talks to me - and you and everyone else. We've just learned to tune him out, ignore what he says, think it is just our imagination or something. But starting with his "baby talk", guilt and joy, he's been yacking it up with us, and it is time we regained the ability to hear and understand him. I'm not talking about "spirit talk" or "tongues" or anything really weird. But he talks to us through not just our ears, and not just with words, but through our hearts and minds, with images, convictions and understanding. Sometimes he even uses role-playing. Well, "talking and listening" are inadequate terms for generally communicating with Iam I suppose.
Thought for the day:
A while back I was sitting on the porch, looking at the myriad stars, thinking about how MUCH there is to the universe. My heart fairly cried out, "It is too big! It is too much! It is overwhelming!" Iam responded immediately: "I am bigger than that.", followed by "You'll get there eventually." The dialog THAT bit kicked off is for another time.
